A member of the public slipped while descending Coniston Old Man in the evening and sustained a leg injury. Following assessment at the scene, the casualty's leg was splinted before she was stretchered down to waiting vehicles.

Injury (Ankle) Brecon Beacons
Mountain Rescue Team was called out after a walker injured his ankle on Neuadd Ridge in the Brecon Beacons. Passers-by assisted the individual down the slope before medics arrived to assess and treat the injury with splinting and pain relief. The casualty was subsequently carried from the ridge to a car park for onward transport to hospital.
Outcome: Transported to hospital
Missing Person Search Peak District
The team was called out by Derbyshire Police to assist with a search for a missing person near Matlock. A search dog located what was believed to be the body of the missing individual within the search area.

Fall/Injury Yorkshire Dales
The team responded to North Yorkshire Police regarding a member of a school party who had fallen on the track near Ingleborough Cave. The individual sustained an injured shoulder and was assessed and treated at the scene before being handed over to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

A team was alerted regarding a potentially overdue caver in Cow Pot on Leck Fell. The missing individual was located by friends who were searching the area and was subsequently brought safely back to the surface.

A mountain rescue team was alerted via an Apple Phone emergency activation regarding a walker in difficulty on the path from Red Tarn to Glenridding. The casualty was initially reported as dehydrated, exhausted, and with a head injury. Following assessment at the scene, the individual received treatment and was safely stretchered down to Greenside.

Lost/Disorientation Lake District
A young female camper reported feeling cold and unsure how to navigate her way down from Pavey Ark. She was successfully located using SARLOC equipment and subsequently guided safely down by team members.

Assistance/Medical Lake District
A small party responded to a request for assistance at Saddlestone Quarries on the evening of 4 June 2026. The vulnerable gentleman was given hot drinks and warm clothing before being safely escorted down to the base.

Injury (Cramps) Yorkshire Dales
Mountain Rescue Team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police regarding an injured walker near God’s Bridge in Birkwith who was suffering from cramps. A small party located the casualty near Nether Lodge farm and assessed his injuries; he was subsequently transported back to Horton in Ribblesdale.
Outcome: Transported safely after assessment
Overdue walker Peak District
The team was called out late in the evening regarding an overdue walker on Kinder Scout. A large search operation involving neighbouring teams and police resources was planned until a further report confirmed the missing person had safely found their way down.

Mountain rescue was called out to a lady who had fallen from her mountain bike in Grizedale Forest on a wet and blustery morning. The casualty sustained injuries to her neck, upper arm, and shoulder before being handed over to the ambulance service.

The team was requested to assist with a missing person search at Shire Brook Nature Reserve, involving the Drone section and Search dogs. However, the operation was stood down en route as the individual had already been located by the Police.

A multi-agency search was conducted for a 52-year-old male reported missing from Derriford Hospital over two days. The initial searches took place in woodland and overgrown areas near the hospital, with efforts continuing on Thursday before the individual was located deceased on Friday afternoon.

The team responded to an incident late on the evening to assist the North West Ambulance Service with the evacuation of an injured male near a canal. The casualty was successfully transported using the team's stretcher and wheel to the waiting ambulance.

Animal Rescue Southern Uplands
Outcome: The rescue team successfully freed a cow that had become trapped at an icehouse after an 11-hour operation.
Lost/Disorientation Yorkshire Dales
Mountain Rescue was called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a group of walkers who had become disoriented while descending Ingleborough during dark and misty conditions. Using their PhoneFind tool, the Duty Controller located the group via the MR Map system and successfully guided them back onto the correct path.

Drowning/Maritime Accident Southern Uplands Serious incident
A search and rescue operation was launched after a fishing boat sank in Carlingford Lough on Tuesday, 2 June. Following extensive efforts involving multiple emergency services, the body of one crew member was recovered from the water later that evening.

Multiple callouts and training exercise Peak District
The team responded to multiple calls over the weekend, including assisting with an ankle injury at Dovestone and another walker who fell on Lark Hill near Dobcross. They also conducted a full-day training exercise before concluding by locating four missing walkers on the moor above Dovestone.
Outcome: All incidents concluded safely with no reported serious injuries or fatalities.
Lost persons Peak District
The team was called out to a party of two reported lost on Kinder Scout just before their scheduled training session. Another group of walkers encountered the missing individuals and assisted them back to Edale, allowing the rescue team to track their safe return.

Fly-tipping clean-up Brecon Beacons
A joint operation by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council and the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team successfully cleared a large amount of illegally dumped waste from the steep slopes of Bwlch Mountain. The rescue team utilised highly technical rope systems to safely remove tonnes of debris that had been fly-tipped over private farmland.
Outcome: Waste successfully cleared from the site.

The water section was called out to assist a high-profile search for a missing boy believed to be in the water. The team were stood down en route when it was later confirmed that the body of a boy had been located.

A call was received regarding a male who had fallen at Kern Knotts, sustaining injuries to his head and hand. MRT personnel were deployed immediately from base, where the casualty was assessed and treated on scene before being walked off the hill for onward care.

Medical emergency/Death South West Serious incident
Emergency services attended Bodmin Moor on Saturday morning following reports of an individual who had suffered a serious medical episode. Rescue teams were called to assist with the recovery of the person, who sadly did not survive at the scene. The death was confirmed by police and is not being treated as suspicious.
