A walker suffered a head injury after falling on the Lakeshore Path between Howtown and Glenridding. Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team responded with their Rescue Rib, treating the casualty and evacuating them by boat to the pier, where they were handed over to ambulance services for hospital transport.

A male fellwalker sustained a head injury at Hell Ghyll and was treated by the team before being evacuated by helicopter with assistance from Kendal Mountain Rescue Team.

Two walkers became trapped on steep ground with waterfalls in Crowden Clough after taking a wrong descent route from Kinder Scout. They were assisted by two other walkers who helped them to safer ground; the team arrived to find them out of immediate danger. Both casualties were uninjured and were walked back to vehicles with assistance from the team.

A walker fell ill near Beardown Tor and activated a rescue response. The casualty recovered and walked most of the way back to Beardown Farm with another walker, where he was checked over by a team doctor before leaving.

Cumbria Police contacted the rescue team about an overdue caving party reported missing from Pippikin Pot on Leck Fell. The cavers made contact via mobile phone and were safely on the surface, requiring no further action.

A male fellwalker collapsed at Alcock Tarn and was attended by the rescue team. Despite best efforts, the casualty was pronounced deceased. The team was assisted by Kendal Mountain Rescue Team.

A caving party became overdue in Pippikin Pot on Leck Fell. Cumbria Police notified the rescue team, but the group safely emerged and made contact before a full callout was necessary.

Three walkers became disorientated and lost in poor visibility and low cloud on Kinder Scout during an evening walk. After spending a cold night on the tops, they became stuck while attempting to descend William Clough in the dark and called for help. They were found by the team, cold but unhurt, and safely escorted off the hill.

Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue assisted North West Ambulance Service with the recovery of a body from the shore of Windermere on 13 September 2026. The operation lasted 4.5 hours and involved 9 team members.

A 45-year-old male sustained a lower leg injury on the footpath above Goredale Scar near Malham Tarn. The team was tasked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the casualty, and a full team callout was initiated with vehicles dispatched to the scene.

Three callouts in quick succession: a 15-year-old boy evacuated by rope rescue after falling 25 feet from a swing; three teenagers reported lost on Pendle Hill were located before significant search deployment; and a 58-year-old who slipped on a steep bank was stood down by ambulance service.

Two walkers were rescued from steep terrain on Craig Leith in the Ochils on Sunday evening after getting into difficulty. The Ochils Mountain Rescue Team and a rescue helicopter from Prestwick attended and successfully evacuated both walkers, who were uninjured.

A walker sustained an ankle injury in Birchin Clough near Dovestone on Saturday afternoon. Oldham Mountain Rescue Team responded and, due to difficult terrain and fading light, called in a Coastguard helicopter to assist with extraction. The casualty was immobilised, carried to a suitable point, and transferred by helicopter to waiting road ambulance care.

A walker with a broken ankle and mild hypothermia was rescued from rough terrain near Ruddy Beck on Buttermere fellside on 12 September. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team, with 15 members, located the casualty and a Maritime and Coastguard Agency helicopter winched them from the technically challenging location. The casualty was airlifted to Cumberland Infirmary for treatment.

A male fellwalker was reported overdue on Bowfell. Before a search could be launched, he was confirmed to have returned home safely.

A walker sustained a badly injured ankle at Skelwith Bridge on 12 September 2026. Langdale and Ambleside MRT responded to the incident and Coniston MRT was asked to stand by but was subsequently stood down as the location was within LAMRT's operational boundary.

An injured walker was rescued from woodland near Monmouth on 10 September after emergency services were called. Longtown Mountain Rescue, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, and Welsh Ambulance Service worked together, using a technical rope rescue system to safely lower the casualty from the woodland. The person was taken to safety for further care.

A 71-year-old man with dementia was reported missing and subsequently found near Piethorne Reservoir following a search operation.
