Mosedale, Loweswater (track below Melbreak)
A mountain biker sustained a potentially broken ankle whilst pushing their bike through boggy terrain on the track below Melbreak in Loweswater. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team attended, provided pain relief and splinting, and carried the casualty half a mile to meet an ambulance at Kirkgate Farm.
Outcome: casualty carried to Land rovers and transferred to ambulance at Kirkgate Farm
