Loweswater, Crab Tree Beck
A walker fell 5 metres from a lakeside road at Loweswater and lost consciousness, sustaining neck and head injuries. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team assisted paramedics and local first responders in immobilising the casualty on the narrow lakeshore path and evacuating them by stretcher to an ambulance.
