Great Borne, Lake District
A walker on Great Borne in the Lake District showed signs of a potential stroke on 10 June. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team and Great North Air Ambulance responded, and the casualty was assisted down the fell and airlifted to a waiting ambulance before being transported to West Cumberland Hospital for treatment.
Outcome: casualty airlifted by helicopter and transported to West Cumberland Hospital
