Two men in their 20s were rescued from Ben Macdui in the Cairngorms after calling for help approximately two and a half hours into their climb. Both were suffering from cold exposure, with one displaying signs of hypothermia; they were inadequately dressed in trainers and jogging bottoms in -15°C temperatures. The rescue was carried out by 13 volunteers from Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team.
