Central Beacon and Brecon Mountain Rescue Teams responded to five callouts on 4 January after heavy snow in the Brecon Beacons. Incidents included a lost walker near Pen-y-Fan, three people and a baby stranded in a car, another vehicle with three people and three dogs, and hypothermic campers at Cwm Lwch. All casualties were located and assisted, with one person stretchered off to an ambulance.
Outcome: all casualties rescued; walker assisted off mountain, stranded motorists and campers evacuated, one casualty stretchered to ambulance
