Liathach, Glen Torridon

A 47-year-old climber was caught in an avalanche in the Liathach area of Glen Torridon and sustained serious injuries. He was located by Torridon Mountain Rescue Team with support from Coastguard and RAF helicopters, and was airlifted to hospital.

Outcome: casualty airlifted to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries
