Penrith Mountain Rescue Team responded to six incidents across the region in June and July 2026, including injured walkers, a person experiencing distress near the River Eden, a hypothermic wild camper, and a stranded solo walker. All casualties were safely assisted, with some requiring stretcher evacuation and ambulance handover.
