Hallin Fell
A walker slipped and injured their ankle at the summit of Hallin Fell on 29 July. Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team attended the incident, splinted the ankle, and stretchered the casualty down to the road for ambulance transfer. The rescue involved nine team members and lasted three hours.
Outcome: casualty stretchered down and transferred to North West Ambulance Service
