Wintour's Leap, near Chepstow
A climber fell at Wintour's Leap near Chepstow on 9 August 2026. The Severn Area Rescue Association and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service coordinated a multi-agency rescue, initially planning a rope rescue but switching to a boat extraction due to tidal conditions.
