Two people were airlifted to hospital by Coastguard helicopter following a rescue on Pen Cerrig Calch near Crickhowell in challenging wet conditions. The operation involved Longtown Mountain Rescue Team alongside colleagues from Brecon and Central Brecon teams, as well as Dyfed-Powys Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service. Both casualties were taken to Newport Grange Hospital for further medical treatment.
