Mourne Mountain Rescue Team responded to three separate incidents on the same day involving injured walkers in the Mourne Mountains. A young person with an arm injury, a woman with a head injury who required helicopter evacuation, and another woman with a leg injury were all assisted to safety with help from the Coastguard helicopter, ambulance service, and team medical personnel.
Outcome: all three casualties evacuated to hospital by helicopter and ambulance
