Oldham Mountain Rescue Team responded to two separate incidents on Monday. The first involved a walker with a suspected lower leg fracture on Blackstone Edge who was treated by air ambulance paramedics and airlifted to hospital with assistance from both Oldham and Calder Valley teams. The second call, regarding reported shouts for help near Indians Head, was resolved when members of the public admitted they had been shouting and waving on the hill.
