White Coppice Quarry

A rescue team attended a call regarding an elderly male who had fallen within the disused quarry area of White Coppice on Monday afternoon. Following an assessment, it was determined that the casualty may have sustained a broken lower leg. The incident required assistance from neighbouring mountain rescue teams to safely transport the individual off the hill.

Outcome: Transported by ambulance

Support the team who responded. They turn out unpaid, in all weather — every team is a volunteer-run charity.
