Woodland near Monmouth
An injured walker was rescued from woodland near Monmouth on 10 September after emergency services were called. Longtown Mountain Rescue, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, and Welsh Ambulance Service worked together, using a technical rope rescue system to safely lower the casualty from the woodland. The person was taken to safety for further care.
