Llanthony Priory, Abergavenny area
A walker on holiday in the Abergavenny area suffered a serious leg injury after slipping near Llanthony Priory. Longtown Mountain Rescue teams carried him down the hillside over rough terrain in a four-hour operation and handed him to ambulance crews for transport to hospital.
Outcome: casualty carried down and transferred to Welsh Ambulance Service for hospital transport
