Mourne Mountains (Slieve Bearnagh, Pollaphuca Gap)
Two walkers were rescued from the Mourne Mountains on the same day. One fell at the summit of Slieve Bearnagh and was winched to a helicopter by Irish Coast Guard; another took ill at Pollaphuca Gap and was airlifted to hospital.
Outcome: both casualties evacuated by helicopter to hospital
