dog rescue Yorkshire Dales
Pecca Falls, Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, Ingleton, North Yorkshire
A dog fell into the river near Pecca Falls on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and managed to climb onto a ledge approximately 2 metres above the water. Penrith Mountain Rescue and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service worked together to establish a rope rescue system, with a team member lowered to retrieve the casualty, who was successfully reunited with her owners.
Outcome: dog rescued and reunited with owners
