Stretcher carry/Extraction Brecon Beacons
Central Beacons / Brecon
The team was called out on 17 July to assist other mountain rescue teams with what initially appeared to be a straightforward stretcher carry. Upon arrival, it became apparent that rope work was necessary for the extraction, requiring full integration of medical, ropes, and stretcher disciplines from all involved parties.
Outcome: Casualty safely moved to allow others to return to work
