A mountain biker suffered a serious arm injury in a crash on the Innerleithen MTB trails and was airlifted to hospital by rescue helicopter. The Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue team assisted with the evacuation, which resulted in the casualty reaching hospital significantly faster than road ambulance transfer would have allowed.
