Dove Crag, near Ambleside
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team responded to their 100th callout of 2024 when a man injured his ankle on Dove Crag near Ambleside and was unable to descend. The team located him, stabilised his ankle with a splint, and assisted him down to Sykeside where he was reunited with his friends.
Outcome: casualty assisted down the hill and reunited with friends
