Barcaldine forest, Argyll and Bute
An experienced mountain biker suffered serious injuries whilst on a night ride with friends in Barcaldine forest, Argyll and Bute. Oban Mountain Rescue Team attended and the casualty was assessed, packaged and stretchered to a waiting ambulance for transport to hospital. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Outcome: casualty stretchered to ambulance and transported to Lorne and Isles Hospital
