Dinas Mot, Snowdonia

A woman fell approximately 130 feet while climbing on Dinas Mot in Snowdonia and sustained a significant head injury, becoming unconscious and suspended from the crag by her climbing ropes. Fellow climbers on the scene immediately provided assistance, and the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team coordinated with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency Rescue 936 helicopter, which winched the casualty to safety and transported her to hospital.

Outcome: airlifted to hospital by coastguard helicopter; transferred to Ysbyty Gwynedd
