A paraglider suffered serious injuries after crashing into a hillside above Strathcarron in the Highlands on Sunday. Torridon Mountain Rescue Team, who were conducting a training session nearby, were airlifted to the scene by Coastguard helicopter and provided initial care alongside ambulance paramedics. The casualty was transferred by air ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
