Yr Wyddfa

A woman fell approximately 10 metres head first whilst descending Yr Wyddfa via the Miners Trail on 18 August 2025, sustaining multiple broken ribs. Llanberis and Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Teams responded and stabilised her for evacuation by Maritime and Coastguard Agency helicopter to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital, where she is recovering well.
