Four Waterfalls, Brecon Beacons
A 50-year-old hiker fell approximately 30 feet from a cliff at the Four Waterfalls beauty spot in the Brecon Beacons after slipping from a narrow path. She sustained serious injuries to her arms, ribs, pelvis and legs but survived, landing in the recovery position on a ledge before descending further into a gorge. She was airlifted to Cardiff Heath Hospital by Wales Air Ambulance Service and is receiving treatment.
