Saddleworth Moor, near Greenfield Reservoir
A man missing on Saddleworth Moor was located by an off-duty police officer and his search dog, guided by thermal camera footage from a police aircraft. The casualty was suffering from hypothermia and exhaustion and received immediate medical treatment at the scene before being airlifted to hospital. He was subsequently discharged.
