Ben Nevis, Zero Gully

A solo climber fell approximately 200 metres down Zero Gully on Ben Nevis on Saturday afternoon, sustaining multiple traumatic injuries. He was rescued by Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team and the rescue helicopter, then transferred to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for major trauma care.

Outcome: casualty evacuated by helicopter to major trauma centre
