Patterdale Mountain Rescue responded to a motorcycle collision near Glenridding where the rider was stabilised and evacuated by ambulance. Later the same evening, the team assisted an unwell camper at Red Tarn who was walked off the hill and provided accommodation at a local hostel.
Outcome: motorcyclist taken to hospital by ambulance; camper walked off hill and given shelter at YHA
