A multi-agency search was conducted for a 52-year-old male reported missing from Derriford Hospital over two days. The initial searches took place in woodland and overgrown areas near the hospital, with efforts continuing on Thursday before the individual was located deceased on Friday afternoon.

The rescue team assisted police in searching for several missing persons across various locations over the period. On multiple occasions, the missing individuals were located by members of the public or found to be safe after being searched for in adverse conditions.

The team attended an incident in the Yelverton area on December 15th to assist with a search for a high-risk missing person. After four hours of searching across Clearbrook and Meavy up to Burrator Dam, the individual was not found during the initial search. The police continued their efforts overnight and located the person safely the following morning.
Outcome: Person located safe and well the following day.
Outcome: The missing person was located and taken to an ambulance for further support.
Police requested assistance in searching for a lost 16-year-old who was camping overnight. The team focused their search east of the River Plym and successfully located the young person relatively quickly. He was found safe and in good health.

The team responded to assist Devon and Cornwall Police with a search for a high-risk missing person near Derriford. After assembling at B&Q on Tavistock Road, the police reported that the individual had been found safe and well.

The team responded to an incident involving heavy rainfall and potential flooding across the peninsula. They were deployed to various locations, including a caravan park at Notter Bridge, where the River Lynher had flooded homes and required evacuation. Working with multiple agencies, they successfully rescued eight individuals and two dogs.
