Minera

Lost persons Snowdonia

A search was launched following a request from North Wales Police to locate a family of one adult and three children, along with a dog, who had become lost in the Minera area. The group's location was initially thought to be near fast-flowing water, but they were eventually found safely.

Outcome: Safe recovery

Moel Yr Accre

Paraglider accident Snowdonia

A paraglider accident occurred near the summit of Moel Yr Accre on 23 May. The individual involved sustained a lower leg injury and required assistance off the hill. Access and extraction were complicated by dense gorse covering the terrain.

Outcome: Lower leg injury, required extraction

Halkyn

Missing Person Search Snowdonia

The team responded to a request from North Wales Police to search for a high-risk missing person in the Halkyn area. Searches were conducted on Wednesday evening and resumed on Thursday morning with assistance requested from neighbouring teams.

Connah's Quay

Missing Person Search Snowdonia

Mountain Rescue teams were called out by North Wales Police to conduct a search for a missing person in the Connah's Quay area on Tuesday night. Following close coordination between all agencies, the individual was located and confirmed to be safe.

Outcome: Person found safe

Berwyns

Overdue walker Snowdonia

The rescue team responded to a request from the police regarding an overdue walker in the Berwyns on Sunday evening. Following an extensive search across difficult and steep terrain, the individual was located and recovered safely.

Outcome: Rescued

Dyserth

Minor entrapment/Rescue Snowdonia

A call was received regarding a teenager who had become stuck on a crag near Dyserth. The individual was able to self-rescue, and team members subsequently assisted him off the crag.

Outcome: Self-rescue followed by team assistance

Flintshire

Missing Person Snowdonia

The team was contacted by North Wales Police regarding a high-risk missing teenager in the early hours of the morning. A team member proactively began searching before reaching the designated rendezvous point and successfully located the missing person.

Outcome: Safe recovery

Berwyns

Injury (Lower leg) Snowdonia

A female walker sustained a lower leg injury after falling in the Berwyns on Wednesday, 8th April. Due to the distance and difficulty of extraction, Coastguard assistance was required for a winch evacuation, after which team members escorted the rest of the party.

Outcome: Evacuated by Coastguard
