A man in his 40s died after falling approximately 590ft (180m) on Helvellyn in the Lake District. His wife raised the alarm on Sunday evening when tracking showed his position had stopped moving. Mountain rescue teams recovered his body on Monday morning, and his dog was found safe on a nearby ledge.
