walkers stuck in bad weather Lake District
Helvellyn, Striding Edge
Two walkers became stuck on Helvellyn in deteriorating weather and low cloud on 3 February. Patterdale Mountain Rescue located them near Birkhouse Moor and provided warm clothing and torches before escorting them safely off the mountain.
