Great Gable
A walker sustained facial injuries and cuts to their legs after falling on the descent to Beck Head from Great Gable on 26 July 2025. Cockermouth and Wasdale Mountain Rescue Teams attended, assessed and treated the casualty before walking them out via Moses Trod. The casualty was deemed fit enough to scramble off the steep ground with assistance.
Outcome: casualty treated on scene and walked off the mountain
