A walker died after falling from the south ridge of Tryfan in Snowdonia on Friday evening, 7 June. Emergency services including the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation, RAF Mountain Rescue Service, and Maritime and Coastguard Agency responded, locating the casualty by helicopter. Despite the rescue effort, the casualty had not survived the fall.

Outcome: casualty died; body recovered by technical rope rescue and helicopter evacuation
