A man fell and became injured in a remote, inaccessible area near Black Clough in the Peak District on Saturday evening. Over 50 rescue personnel from four mountain rescue teams, an air ambulance and a Coastguard helicopter worked for around seven hours to locate and evacuate him by stretcher carry due to unsafe conditions for helicopter winching.
Outcome: casualty carried off hill and transferred to land ambulance
