A walker on the Coast to Coast path near Haweswater became exhausted and unwell after drinking contaminated stream water in hot conditions. A Coastguard helicopter was dispatched and airlifted the casualty to Mardale Head, where they received assessment by paramedics and a Team doctor before ambulance transfer to hospital.
