A male walker fell on Whin Rigg sustaining a suspected collar bone injury and potential head injury. The MRT attended and assessed the casualty; due to possible head and spinal involvement, Coastguard Rescue 897 was requested and the casualty was airlifted to Carlisle for hospital transfer.

Outcome: casualty airlifted to Carlisle for hospital transfer
