Tongue Pots, River Esk, Eskdale

A male sustained a hip injury following a fall while swimming in the waterfalls at Tongue Pots in the River Esk. Mountain rescue team members assisted the casualty in walking down to Lingcove bridge, then conveyed him by stretcher for comfort. He was handed over to friends for transport to hospital for further assessment.
