A woman slipped and injured her ankle while descending from the Old Man of Coniston via the Dow Crag ridge near Buck Pike. The team was dispatched and coordinated with Coastguard Rescue 336 from Caernarfon to airlift her to Carlisle for hospital treatment.
Outcome: casualty airlifted by helicopter to Carlisle hospital
