Torver Low Common

A man suffered a medical episode while walking the Cumbria Way on Torver Low Common and fell, becoming unable to continue. The rescue team attended, assessed and bandaged his cuts, then stretchered him to their base where he was re-assessed by an ambulance crew. He was discharged to his accommodation with advice to seek further medical attention if needed.

Outcome: casualty assessed and bandaged, transported to accommodation for rest

Support the team who responded. They turn out unpaid, in all weather — every team is a volunteer-run charity.
