Scafell Crag / Lords Rake, Scafell
A lone male was reported stuck on a grassy ledge at Scafell Crag near Lords Rake after members of the public heard calls for help. Wasdale and Duddon mountain rescue teams established a rope rescue system, lowered a rescuer to assess and assist the casualty down to Lords Rake, then evacuated all personnel by helicopter.
Outcome: casualty assisted down by rope rescue and evacuated by helicopter
