Walna Scar Road, Coniston

A cyclist sustained leg and hand injuries after his brakes failed on the road leading down from Walna Scar to Coniston village. The team assisted North West Ambulance Service paramedics in evacuating the casualty by stretcher to an ambulance waiting at the bottom of the road.
