Kirkfell
A male walker was struck by falling rocks on Kirkfell, sustaining head and hand injuries. Three members of a large party required rescue from precarious positions in the gill, with assistance from Wasdale and Duddon MRTs and Coastguard Rescue 897. The injured casualty was airlifted to hospital for further treatment.
