walkers blown off path Snowdonia Serious incident
Snowdon
Two walkers were blown from the path on the highest mountain in Wales during poor weather with high winds. Forty-eight rescuers responded; one of the injured walkers had possible broken ribs. The challenging conditions prevented helicopter access close to the accident site and made stretcher evacuation difficult.
