Glyder Fawr and Tryfan, Snowdonia

Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation attended two separate incidents in Snowdonia on Saturday 8 August. A man was airlifted from Glyder Fawr after dislocating and possibly fracturing his ankle on Seniors Ridge, and was flown to hospital in Bangor. Later the same day, a man and his dog were safely escorted down from Tryfan after the dog became unable to continue on the North Ridge.

Outcome: injured man airlifted and hospitalised; man and dog escorted safely down the mountain
