William Clough, Kinder Scout
Three walkers became disorientated and lost in poor visibility and low cloud on Kinder Scout during an evening walk. After spending a cold night on the tops, they became stuck while attempting to descend William Clough in the dark and called for help. They were found by the team, cold but unhurt, and safely escorted off the hill.
Outcome: casualties found cold but uninjured and escorted off the hill
