Waterfall Gully, Tryfan
A 74-year-old man sustained a significant leg wound near Waterfall Gully on Tryfan, losing approximately 0.5–0.75 litres of blood and briefly losing consciousness. Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue attended with first aid and oxygen, and the HM Coastguard helicopter winched him to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital with assistance from a passing off-duty paramedic.
Outcome: casualty winched by helicopter and flown to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital
