Tryfan, Eryri
A 14-year-old boy fell 20–30 metres in a gully on Tryfan in Eryri on Sunday evening. Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team and HM Coastguard conducted a six-hour rescue in darkness, locating the conscious teenager on the west face and airlifting him to Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
Outcome: casualty airlifted to hospital
